DeKalb County School District staff may request through interlibrary loan materials that are not available in the Professional Library. Interlibrary loan (or "ILL" for short) is a system that allows libraries across the country to share resources with one another. Books, journal articles, dissertations, theses, and other types of materials are available through interlibrary loan.
The Professional Library provides interlibrary loan service to DeKalb County School District personnel ONLY.
To renew or request materials:
call the Professional Library's front desk at (678) 676-2433
or email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Once your order has been placed, it can take up to 14 days to receive requested books and up to 7 days to receive a copy of a periodical article through the ILL system.
Books borrowed through the ILL must be returned directly to the DeKalb Professional Library book return cart or via school courier services, if available.
